Tibiantis has already established itself as a successful project, but it's heavily geared toward the European audience. There's been a lot of talk about the 'why yes' or 'why not' of a North American server. I feel that after so many years, a new challenge would bring fresh direction and impact the entire 7.4 community. A North American world with 0.5x experience (a different proposal from the current 1x European server). Why not?

Downplay it all you want, but I am positive, with some effort, we can get 1.000 players into a server like that. :) The market for Tibia OT in Americas is far bigger than Europe.
And as to sponsoring hosting/costs, I am all game for paying for it, as I have proposed many times before to our lovely GMs, same as other players who are also interested in it. Still, we have to respect the timing of our Team and their vision. Who knows, the future is always surprising and maybe someday we will have that sort of grace of having a Tibiantis server in Americas.

I think its a nice idea, although an SA server would have more demand surely. I'm also not sure how many people would want to play a 0.5x rate server. 1x is already slow. I think creating a 1x rate SA or NA no-pvp server would be the next logical step for tibiantis.
